WE’RE HERE FOR YOU.

Toowong Village is here for you and OPEN.

Our retailers are trading and would welcome you to visit them.

We appreciate the community concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and public spaces, so we have proactively taken steps to ensure our customers’ wellbeing is of the highest priority.

This includes:

  •  Positioning of hand sanitisers throughout the centre for customer use;
  •  Signage reminding people to wash their hands regularly and cough or sneeze into a flexed elbow;
  •  Additional cleaning services of the facilities, regular touch points and high traffic areas throughout the shopping centre;

We all play a part in keeping our Village community safe, and customers are expected to adhere to the public health rules while visiting the Toowong Village.  This includes:

  •  Practicing social distancing – staying 1.5 metres away from those around you;
  •  Remembering the 1 person per 4 square metre rule;
  •  Respecting store customer limits at the entry of each store;
  •  Using EFTPOS instead of cash;
  •  Personal and respiratory hygiene – washing your hands regularly and covering your face with a flexed elbow or tissue if you sneeze or cough;
  •  Staying home if you’re unwell;

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and be guided by the advice of Queensland Health and Australian health authorities.  For more information please visit:  https://www.health.gov.au/

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Village and our retailers.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

-SUPERMARKET UPDATE- (Monday 6 April 2020)

From today (6/4/2020), Coles Toowong are limiting the number of shoppers instore.
This is to help maintain social distancing, minimise the spread of COVID-19 and keep our Village customers, retailers and broader community safe. So you may need to wait for a short period before entering the store.

Below are a few TIPS for making your shopping trip easier:

▪️Prepare a shopping list to make your time in the supermarket as quick and efficient as possible.
▪️Plan your shopping in advance to avoid the busier times if you can.
▪️Use the sanitiser stations in the centre before you go into the supermarket to ensure your hands are clean.
▪️Please be patient and respectful to staff and other shoppers, maintaining a 1.5 metre distance from those around you at all times.

We are all in this together – we will get through this with everyone’s help.
Stay safe and well.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our Village retailers. ❤️
